Purpose
The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and optimizing district operations across the company to ensure consistency, accountability, efficiency, and profitability. This role provides operational leadership and support to district managers while helping align field operations with company strategy, safety expectations, quality standards, and core values.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage people, processes, communication, and operational performance across multiple locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and support daily operations across all company districts and facilities
- Partner with executive leadership to implement operational strategies and company initiatives
- Ensure consistency in operational procedures, reporting, safety practices, and customer service standards across all locations
- Hold district leaders accountable for operational, financial, and safety performance
- Develop and maintain operational KPIs, reporting systems, and accountability measures
- Review operational and financial reports to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct regular site visits to support district teams, evaluate operations, and reinforce company standards
- Assist with staffing, workforce planning, scheduling, and operational readiness
- Promote communication and collaboration between operations, HR, finance, QHSE, and field personnel
- Support the development and implementation of company policies, procedures, and process improvements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and employees
- Assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and operational planning efforts
- Demonstrate and promote alignment with company core values in daily activities
- Contribute to the overall team effort by completing related tasks and responsibilities
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Service industry or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operational leadership or multi-location management required
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel regularly between company locations

- Experience with NDT operations, API standards, ASNT, OSHA, ANSI, or related industry standards is preferred.
